AX Real Estate Highlights Key Developments at Fifth AGM

AX Real Estate p.l.c. held its fifth Annual General Meeting on Friday 24th April at the Poseidon Hall, AX ODYCY Hotel in Qawra. During the meeting, shareholders were updated on the Company’s key projects, strategic priorities, and outlook for the year ahead.

The meeting opened with an address by AX Group Chairman Angelo Xuereb, who provided an overview of the Company’s development pipeline and highlighted key milestones achieved over the past year. These included the opening of the Verdala Wellness Hotel in August 2025, a landmark project for AX Real Estate and a significant addition to Malta’s luxury hospitality offering.

The Chairman also shared updates on ongoing and upcoming developments, including Virtù Heights in Rabat, preparatory works for AX ODYCY Phase 2 in Qawra, and the planned refurbishment of AX The Palace Hotel in Sliema.

Denise Xuereb, AX Group’s Director for Construction and Development and Chief Executive Officer of AX Real Estate, followed with an overview of the Company’s operational performance and strategic direction. She highlighted the continued strength and resilience of AX Real Estate’s diversified property portfolio, the positive trajectory of its hospitality assets, and the Company’s focus on delivering long term value to shareholders through disciplined capital management.

Joseph Borg, AX Real Estate’s Chief Financial Officer, then presented the financial results for the year ended 31 October 2025. This was followed by a question-and-answer session, during which AX Group Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman Michael Warrington addressed questions raised by shareholders.

Shareholders subsequently reviewed and approved all resolutions set out on the agenda.
